These 20x15s are not easy and this is no exception. The only handy fill is the bottom left, otherwise it's a complex line drawing. It took two long attempts but I finally caught Jirachi! I want to save another 11 Picrites.

This one was tough. There was an awful lot of small clues and one big mega clue for Froakie's mouth. Good thing I had Auto Fix Pokémon to help. I need to earn another 19 Picrites.

S 07-04 Squirtle(All Missions) & Daily Training Level 8 Grind 22

Dear Readers,

All of Squirtle's missions complete! I love how powerful Zygarde's Square Reveal is. It makes short work of the puzzles, which is nice when repeating them. I need to save another 27 Picrites.

S 07-03 Milotic(All Missions) & Daily Training Level 8 Grind 21

Dear Readers,

Milotic's missions complete! With only 2 Pokémon slots, I wasn't sure if I could get the completion bonus due to the time limit. Vaporeon's Blue Force really helped and I didn't need any Hyper Scan corrections either! Woo! I want to save 39 more Picrites.

S 07-04 Squirtle & Daily Training Level 8 Grind 20

I thought I had done this one already? Since I already have one of these on my team? It turns out that I was given this one by Tetra, but had yet to do its puzzle. This is Squirtle. I didn't get an extra one either.

S 07-03 Milotic & Daily Training Level 8 Grind 19

Dear Readers,

It's a good start to this Pokémon with its big fill lines on the right side. It's all thanks to its eyebrows, which may be the longest eyebrows ever. It helps to make the rest of the puzzle straightforward. This one is Milotic.

S 07-06 Vaporeon & Daily Training Level 8 Grind 18

Dear Readers,

This Pokémon has a dark marking on its head that makes for some good fill lines. This pattern, as well as the pattern around its neck, makes a slight U shape. Some little fills left for its cute facial features. Solving this gives you Vaporeon!

8-bit Kirby? At least, that's what it looked like at first. But no, it's Buizel and it's looking to the left.

It looks a lot like 8-bit Kirby though!

This Pokémon has a nice simple square face. Very square like buck teeth and nose too. Nothing too complicated for Bidoof.

Not many fills on this one at all, apart from the one full line making up this Pokémon's back on which it lays! The rest is sparse and its big belly is made up of a lot of X spaces. You may feel it's a bit lax. In fact, it's Snorlax!

Oshawott. Today I learned the Mega 2 clues are quite easy, as they'll always be one filled square per line. I also learned that you don't earn any Picrites for doing a mission in Alt-World sadly. I need to earn 46 more Picrites.

Poké Doll. The Mega clues can get a bit confusing if you're not careful! I had to remember that they go onto both lines to solve one clue. Need to save another 57 Picrites.

A 00-04 Repel & Daily Training Level 8 Grind 7

Dear Readers,

Repel has a lot of fills, so the Mega clues can have very large numbers. The only thing is to figure out where they all go, so you have to do many of the little ones first. Need to save another 65 Picrites.

A 00-03 Egg & Daily Training Level 8 Grind 6

Dear Readers,

First 10x10 Mega puzzle and it's an Egg. It's a nice one to start the harder ones with. The Mega clues feel like peeling a big juicy fruit when you solve them! It's satisfying! Need to save 73 more Picrites.

Alt-World Potion today. Nice and easy 5x5 here too. It'll get more challenging when the 10x10s come. Saving Picrites to unlock more worlds. Need 100 this time.

Charmander's missions complete! Had to set 2 Water-type Pokémon and use Blue Force. It's weird how I wasn't allowed to use both Greninjas. I earned a mural tile and 4 Picrites from this. I got another 7 from daily training. I need another 53 to unlock the Alt-World.

S 04-05 Treecko(All Missions) & Daily Training Level 7

Treecko missions complete! Just had to set 2 Pokémon and use Blue Force. Manaphy only has one use of it, but it never runs out. I earn a mural tile and 3 Picrites. I earn another 7 in daily training. I need another 64 to unlock the Alt-World.

S 04-04 Floette (Red Flower) (All Missions) & Daily Training Level 6 Grind 23

I finally level up from 6 to 7 in the daily training! YES! It only took 24 attempts! I also completed every mission of Floette (Red Flower), setting Zygarde 10% Forme as the Dragon-type and using its Square Reveal. I earn 6 Picrites from this and 7 from daily training. I need another 74 to unlock the Alt-World.

S 04-03 Goomy(All Missions) & Daily Training Level 6 Grind 22

Goomy missions complete! For this, I had to set my Normal-type Eevee and use its Rising Reveal move. On completing this, I earn a mural tile and 5 Picrites. I earn 7 more from daily training. I need another 87 to unlock the Alt-World.

Ash-Greninja missions all complete! It took more than one attempt I admit! To achieve this, I used Manaphy's unlimited Blue Force and Mew's Freeze Time, both extremely handy here. I earned 6 Picrites from this and 7 from daily training. I need another 123 to unlock Alt-World.

S 03-03 Mime Jr.(All Missions) & Daily Training Level 6 Grind 17

Mime Jr.'s missions are now complete! For this, I had to set Pikachu and Klefki. Pikachu for its Slow Time and Klefki because it's my only Steel type. For this I get a mural tile and 5 Picrites. I also earned 7 Picrites in daily training. So close to level up but it didn't happen! Gah! I need another 147 Picrites to unlock the Alt-World.

S 03-02 Tepig(All Missions) & Daily Training Level 6 Grind 16

Tepig missions now complete! I earned 4 Picrites from doing them. Nice and easy when using Greninja's Blue Force and Mew's Freeze Time. I earned 7 Picrites in daily training too. I'd love to get to the next level so I can earn more at a time. Must train faster! I need another 159 Picrites to unlock the Alt-World.

S 02-04 Froakie(All Missions) & Daily Training Level 6 Grind 15

Froakie's missions are now complete. I earned another 4 Picrites from that and a mural tile. Will have to start doing those someday. To achieve this, I just had to have two Pokémon and only use Poochyena's Scatter Reveal. It's the only one I have that knows this move. I also earned 7 Picrites in daily training. Now I need another 170 to unlock the Alt-World.

S 02-02 Pancham(All Missions) & Daily Training Level 6 Grind 14

Pancham missions are next. To clear them all, I carry 2 Pokémon, one of them Mew for freezing time. It only has 5 PP of this move, so I knew I wouldn't go over the limit! I earned 4 Picrites here and 7 in daily training. I need another 181 to access the Alt-World.

S 02-01 Pumpkaboo(All Missions) & Daily Training Level 6 Grind 13

Got 100% of Pumpkaboo's missions. Poochyena is my only dark-type Pokémon at the moment and it had one use of Scatter Reveal, so that's what I had to use. Earned 5 Picrites from all that and 7 from daily training. I need 192 more to unlock Alt-World.

S 01-03 Oshawott(All Missions) & Daily Training Level 6 Grind 12

I have to save up for the Alt-World so I might as well go back and collect Picrites I missed. I use Whimsicott and Mew to help fulfill the grass and time requirements on Oshawott's puzzle. I also earn 7 Picrites in daily training. I need 300!

S 05-07 Zygarde 10% Forme & Daily Training Level 6 Grind 11

The passwords for this and the other form are 74326715 and 77742314. Of the three forms, this is a lot more slender. It's not too difficult, though there is a lot of X. The fills are most prominent in the top of its head and ears and the bottom right. Draw it all together and you get Zygarde 10% Forme. Earned 7 Picrites in daily training too.

S 00-08 Antidote (Test 3) & Daily Training Level 6 Grind 10

Getting the hang of Mega Picross but not 100% confident yet. This third test is a generous helping of fills that'll help me get more used to it. Finishing it gives me an Antidote. I have access to the Alt-World now but admission costs 300 Picrites! Gah! Need to save daily training Picrites. I earned 7 today.

S 00-07 Ether (Test 2) & Daily Training Level 6 Grind 9

Still getting used to Mega Picross! This is the second test. Had to restart once so it's best to take it slow. Nice way to start this is the complete fills around the perimeter. Some nice tidy parallel fill lines around the middle too. This gives you an Ether. Also earned 7 Picrites in daily training.

S 00-06 Ultra Ball (Test 1) & Daily Training Level 6 Grind 8

Professor Tetra tells me about an Alt-World. Sounds interesting, but I have to do some tests in order to access it. This is the first one. She explains Mega Picross rules. Wow, it's a whole new way of thinking and pretty tricky. This first one I managed to click with after a while and reveal an Ultra Ball. I also earned 7 Picrites in daily training.

S 05-08 Zygarde Complete Forme & Daily Training Level 6 Grind 7

Some big fill clues here were a great way to get started and helped me continue to the very end. Using Zygarde 50% Forme's Square Reveal twice helped a lot too for this and Picrite bonuses! This one is Zygarde Complete Forme. Earned 7 Picrites in daily training.

S 05-05 Spiritomb & Daily Training Level 6 Grind 6

This Pokémon looks like a swirling purple vapour with green bubbly features making up its face. In the puzzle it's mostly fill and the X make up the parts of the face. When it's all finished you get a Spiritomb. I got 7 Picrites in the daily training too.

S 05-04 Axew & Daily Training Level 6 Grind 5

The largest fill this Pokémon has is the top of its head. The rest of its face has a handy right angle for other big fill lines. There are some other little details on its face like its eyes and tusks. Complete this and you get Axew. I also Earned 7 Picrites in daily training.

S 05-03 Charmander & Daily Training Level 6 Grind 4

I earned 7 Picrites in daily training. This puzzle wasn't bad at all. Not many fills but it was quite doable. It's just drawn a bit like a bean shape with eyes and a smile. It should come in handy though. It's Charmander.

S 05-06 Zygarde 50% Forme

Another tricky 20x15. Although this Pokémon is dark in colour, it doesn't have a lot of fills. Lines are drawn for its head, eyes, frills and tail. At least, I think those things on its head are frills. They look like they have their own eyes. The completed puzzle gives you Zygarde 50% Forme.

S 05-01 Banette

Finally doing Pokémon puzzles again! This one is very dark, so lots of big fill clues here. X appears for some of its eyes, its grinning teeth and the space around its pointy head. Fill the clues and you get Banette.

Level 6 of the training is tough enough! I'm not as quick on this as on the others. I don't proceed to the next level, but I get 6 Picrites payment, bringing my total up to 65. I need 15 more to unlock the next area.

Dear Readers,

Today I did Level 5 of the daily training. I got 6 Picrites this time instead of 5. It's kind of like having a job where your salary increases as you level up! I managed to level up to 6 this time.

Time for the next level of daily training! Being level 4, it's now 4 consecutive 7x7 puzzles. I completed them in time and advanced to level 5. I got 5 Picrites too. Only 27 more to go to unlock the next area!

Daily Training Level 3 Grind 2

Today I did another session of the same level of daily training. This time though, I managed to finish it quick enough to level up to 4. Got 5 Picrites as reward, giving me a total of 48. Just 32 to go in order to unlock the next area!

Today I did some more of the same daily training. It's a way to earn Picrites and I need 80 for the next area. Today I win 5, giving me a total of 43.  It's a downside to Free-To-Start gaming, but I've gotten lots of content so far.

S 04-07 Mew

The password for this is 18587211. This took a few attempts! If you use Celebi's Freeze Time, you can make Greninja's Blue Force last a lot longer. It's a great combination!

The tail and face were kind of tricky in the end but I conquered and captured Mew!
